Ángela Aguilar is embarking on her new headline US tour, “Libre Corazón Tour.”
The Mexican-American singer is taking her mariachi infused pop music across the nation, from October to December 2025. As part of the 17-date tour, Aguilar will be performing at the 713 Music Hall on November 8th, in the city of Houston.
Ángela Aguilar is a Mexican-American singer, known for her performances of mariachi and equestrian style of music combined with pop. The 21 year old’s music career was written in the stars as she follows the footsteps of grandparents Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre, and her father, Pepe Aguilar, who is one of Mexico’s iconic and legendary musicians.
Aguilar’s music career began at the age of nine in 2012, releasing an album with her brother Leonardo Aguilar titled “Nueva Tradición.” In 2016, Aguilar performed at the BBC 100 Women festival in Mexico City, making her the youngest singer to perform. She continued her career alongside her musical family in 2018 as they launched "Jaripeo Sin Fronteras," an equestrian-musical style tour.
At just 18 years old, Aguilar released her first solo album in 2018, Primero Soy Mexicana, which was produced by her father Pepe and featured covers of well known songs performed by Lucha Villa, Rocío Dúrcal, and her grandmother, Flor Silvestre. The album went on to be nominated for Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album at the 19th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.
Since her solo debut album, Aguilar has released three more studio albums — Mexicana Enamorada (2021), Bolero (2024), and recently published Nadie Se Va Como Llegó (2025). The album’s single “El Equivocado,” has almost five million streams to date. Aguilar receives just over seven million monthly streams on Spotify alone, with listeners from across the globe.
