Her voice and aura is sharp, unapologetically honest, and rooted in her lived experiences as an Asian American woman and working mother, Wong has carved out a space in comedy that feels both fearless and refreshingly real. Starting out in the early 2000s grinding through the stand-up scene in San Francisco, she quickly built a reputation for her crazy wild humour and bold storytelling that feels so vivid. Her early days were all about the hustle — performing hella shows a night, writing jokes that pushed too far but also pushed her over to the mainstream, and honing a comedic perspective that feels so personal, yet relatable. 

From there, her career skyrocketed: writing for Fresh Off the Boat, starring in Always Be My Maybe, and landing a Primetime Emmy for Beef, Wong has shown that her humor can move effortlessly between heartbreak, absurdity, and raw honesty.
