"Although it feels like yesterday sometimes, I understand it’s been a while… so I’ll be performing songs from all of my eras," Khalid shared on Instagram.

On the new album, Khalid shared that he's "taking his power back", taking a trip down to his roots. The record was made following a car accident, one that changed the course of his life. 

"It reminded me of how fragile life actually is. And I got caught in this highly inspired time period, and I finished the album. I just wanted to find that spark, and I did," he shared with Rolling Stone. 

"I feel like with this album, I knew that I wanted to go back to pop, but I wanted to do it in the way that I felt connected to it the most," he added.
