HOLAAAA Houston! Hey there 713 Music maniacs who love a whole lot of rancheros here in the middle of the city as the rainy season ends. And you know what they say folks - when it’s a Saturday night and we get to spend it with this Norteno Supergroup - we never say no! Why?! ‘Cause the Palomazo boys are coming to our zone!
Well well well - FINALLY a rancheros show for us and all of the boys! Right here right now on Saturday February 20th - Palomazo Norteno brings their supergroup of singers and artists to the stage to start off our year with a whole lot more cowboy boots and hats to fill the room.
Tickets are on sale NOW for our night filled with dancing and starting at $89. Y’all know what to do - we can’t wait to see you! Right here in the 713 with us, the band, and your besties!
713 is in the middle of the city and the heart of our music mania - and every night there’s a show here, we’re ready for the party of a lifetime! So when we have a show here coming to our fresh stage - you better make way and time in your day! ESPECIALLY when it means we get a chance to hang out with the Palomazo boys. Right here on Friday the 20th of February - the Norteno group of our PARENT’s parents will be here to start the night off right with the proper tune. Gathering in the 713 with our boys and new friends on a Saturday while we’re all singing El Ultimo Cartucho with everyone else in the crowd?! The best. Once in a lifetime. Our pot of gold!
Built around four absolute titans of the rancheros - AKA the boys Lalo Mora, Elíseo Robles, Rosendo Cantú, and Raúl Hernández - Palomazo Norteño was born. The group is what happens when decades of history, heartbreak, joy, and experience all choose to combine together on one stage - for one joint reason, to party! SO - when we’re talking about legends from south of the border - you gotta include the Palomazo boys in your top 5. These are the voices behind the songs your parents played in the car, the tracks blasting at backyard parties, and the corridos that shaped generations on both sides of the border. From Lalo Mora’s era-defining run with Los Invasores de Nuevo León to Raúl Hernández’s back up and oh so important time with Los Tigres del Norte, this project represents the very backbone of norteño music. The word palomazo itself means an impromptu jam - and when they’re together on stage, you so get those vibes. Most of their performances look like an impromptu karaoke moment at the bar - its random, it’s different, and above all - it’s THEM!
So when you walk into the 713 on Friday night, just know - this is a three hour sing along and celebration of all things Mexicana and cool.. A masterclass in storytelling with Laurita Garza, Eslabón por Eslabón we’re making sure we all link hands and sing and cry at the same time this time around - no remorse, no shame.
Arriba el norteño. Arriba la tradición. Arriba Houston! We’ll see you right here in the middle of the crowd ready to lose our voices the next day. See you real soon - right in the middle of the 713!
