And now — after a long five-year wait — Cage The Elephant is back on the road for their 2025 US Fall Tour. And lucky for us they’re hitting 713 Music Hall in Houston on October 6th for what’s bound to be one of the most explosive nights of the year. Fans can expect a set that spans the full scope of the band’s catalog—from the gritty distortion of their self-titled debut to the woozy alt-pop of Social Cues, and of course, highlights off their brand-new album Neon Pill. If you haven’t heard it yet — get on it. The title track is a heady mix of psych-glam attitude and modern alt-rock edge that proves the band’s still at the top of their game.

Formed in Bowling Green  Kentucky back in the early 2000s, Cage The Elephant has spent nearly two decades rewriting the rules of modern rock and roll from the indie side and the mainstream level. Starting out with raw basement shows and word-of-mouth hype, it didn’t take long for the group — led by frontman and band hero Matt Shultz — to blow up, thanks to their electrifying debut and anthems like Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked and their rocking out shows. Over time, they evolved their sound into a genre-bending blend of garage rock, psych, punk, and blues, all stitched together with a wild live energy that’s earned them not one, not two, but two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album. And tens of thousands of screaming fans across the globe too. 

And as if that wasn’t enough, rising indie crew Hey, Nothing is opening the night for the band on the night of. And with their lush melodies and dreamy grooves, it’s guaranteed they'll set the tone before Cage takes the roof off. So - make sure to get here early, y’all.
