Headliner

Lorna Shore

Lorna Shore is a deathcore band from New Jersey, America. The band was formed in 2009, by original guitarist Jeff Moskovciak. The band’s name originates from one of Batman’s minor love interests from the Batman Confidential series. Lorna Shore released their first EP in 2010, Triumph, a metalcore sound for the band. Lorna Shore’s natural path towards deathcore was discovered for second EP, Bone Kingdom, released in 2012. However, it was the band’s third EP, Maleficium, from 2013 that gave the band their progressive sound and style. In support of the EP, they released their Youtube hit single “Godmaker”. Following the release of their third EP, the band toured with The Black Dahlia Murder, I Declare War, Within The Ruins, Archspire, and Chelsea Grin. In 2015, Lorna Shore released their debut album, titled Psalms, under Density Records. In 2016, Lorna Shore signed up to Outerloop Records, and released their second album, Flesh Coffin, the following year in 2017. The album was led by single “Denounce the Light”, and later released a second single “Fvneral Moon”.

In 2018, Lorna Shore’s long time lead vocalist, Tom Barber, departed the band to join Chelsea Grin as their new vocalist and frontman. Lorna Shore hired CJ McCreery from Signs of the Swarm as their new singer. The band released two singles, "This Is Hell" and "Darkest Spawn", with McCreery on vocals and toured with heavyweights Cattle Decapitation, Carnifex, and The Faceless. The next year, guitarist Connor Deffley departed the band, and later the same year they signed up to Century Media Records. Lorna Shore released their third album, Immortal, in 2020 and toured with Fit for an Autopsy and Rivers of Nihil. They welcomed their new guitarist Andrew O'Connor later that year.

In 2019, the band fired McCreery due to abusive allegations made by his ex partner, and recruited Will Ramos as a temporary stand-in. In 2021, the band released their most popular hit single “To the Hellfire” from their EP ...And I Return to Nothingness. The band also announced Ramos’ permanent role as Lorna Shore’s lead vocalist and frontman. The track marks Lorna Shore’s new found success. Spotify Viral Chart’s Top 10, the track topped at number four, and was picked up by media outlets such as Revolver and Loudwire with positive reviews.  In 2022, Lorna Shore released their most successful hit single and album to date, “Sun//Eater”, and their fourth album, Pain Remains. The album debuts the band’s new bassist Michael Yager. The band released five more singles, "Into the Earth", "Cursed to Die", "Pain Remains I: Dancing Like Flames", "Pain Remains II: After All I've Done, I'll Disappear", and "Pain Remains III: In a Sea of Fire". Lorna Shore toured Europe in late 2022 in support of the album.

Throughout the years, Lorna Shore have developed their sound from their first metalcore EP, all the way to their most notable album Pain Remains’ new take on deathcore, continuing their hunger for new discoveries within their music. Their testament to growth is evident in the scale of their worldwide fan base. At the moment, they bring in over 1 Million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.
